It didn't sound like stating the obvious to him. It sounded like an expression of discomfort. She didn't strike him as the kind of person who liked crowds much. He could sympathize. He dealt with people well (...most of the time), but it still drained him. "Yeah, thankfully it's cleared up a bit," he agreed.
