Red Spinel: I was worried that was the case.
Red Spinel: Don't know much, but Virelai's the same way.
Bridge to Asgard: Fuck.
Bridge to Asgard: I talked to Marlene, you know? It sounds fucking crazy but that's definitely her on the other side.
Red Spinel: I don't understand it, but I believe it.
Bridge to Asgard: And this log Anais sent me, I don't even know.
Bridge to Asgard: Not only is Ravi real, apparently Akhi is too.
Bridge to Asgard: Is it stupid to be worried about your characters like this? I just feel like I've completely fucked up his life in ways I couldn't even foresee.
Red Spinel: Hardly. I wish I had given Virelai more confidence myself.
Red Spinel: I couldn't even begin apologizing to Victor.
Red Spinel: Wait. Who's Akhi?
Bridge to Asgard: Oh, right, I guess we came up with all that while you were gone.
Bridge to Asgard: Akhilendra was Alex's friend when he was still human and right after he turned molavvas. He got killed and reincarnated as Ravi.
Bridge to Asgard: We did some backlogged stuff for them, and... I don't even know.
Bridge to Asgard: Let me just send you what Anais gave me.
Red Spinel: All right, thanks.
Red Spinel: ... Was this Akhilendra/Ravindra split a headcanon of yours?
Bridge to Asgard: No.
Bridge to Asgard: I mean, I was trying to think of a way to let Ravi have access to flashbacks of Akhi's memories, but not anything like a complete switch between personalities.
Bridge to Asgard: All I can think is that reincarnation isn't strictly canon, so when I was backlogging Akhi, that somehow factored into Ravi in a way I didn't intend...
Red Spinel: So whatever this is doesn't have perfect interpretation.
Red Spinel: And we have no idea what sparks it.
Bridge to Asgard: Maybe it has to take an interpretation that sticks to canon? Best I can figure.
Bridge to Asgard: So now I've got Ravi with multiple personalities and one of them is fucking crazy in a stupidly subtle way and Jesus Christ Ravi's life is ruined now.
Bridge to Asgard: Fuck. I feel so fucking awful about this.
Red Spinel: I still have control of Rayu.
Red Spinel: Is there anything that might help?
Bridge to Asgard: Keep an eye on him, if you can? I don't know, that seems like about all we can do.
Bridge to Asgard: I'm really worried because Akhi is stupid loyal to Alex, and Alex...does not have the best goals.
Bridge to Asgard: And walking out of the station like that...I think Ravi might be in the same boat as Zach.
Red Spinel: Yeah all right.
Red Spinel: And maybe not. I tried to have Rayu say some choice things about Ravi in prison.
Red Spinel: Maybe ask the other paladin players if they can help?
Bridge to Asgard: I'll see what I can do, but if other characters are real too I'm not sure it'll be worth much.
Bridge to Asgard: Maybe if I can figure out exactly what the situation is, I can make sure that info gets spread IC? Normally metagaming is a bad thing, but I think I can make an exception.
Red Spinel: Can't say I didn't metagame the entire prison break.
Red Spinel: Hopefully that doesn't bite Rayu later.
Red Spinel: But I don't know. I had him longer than I've had Virelai, even discounting Victor.
Bridge to Asgard: Maybe it's random? Marlene is my oldest and Ravi's second, but Zach's real and he's Mal's newest.
Bridge to Asgard: Dude I'm going to go research multiple personalities and see what I can figure out.

Red Spinel: Got a hold of Ravi. Says he blacked out after the Anais RP. He's actually telling Rayu about not feeling well.
Bridge to Asgard: Shit. Things must be really bad.
Bridge to Asgard: Well, I never really played it up, but Ravi definitely has textbook PTSD, and it turns out Dissociative Identity Disorder mostly coattails on PTSD, so there's that.
Bridge to Asgard: But I don't know why the game would've decided to work it out that way when I never played him with DID?
Red Spinel: This whole thing keeps getting more and more out of hand.
Red Spinel: Anything that might help?
Bridge to Asgard: Fuck, I don't know. I need to know more about what happened before I can say, really.
Bridge to Asgard: Just have Victor be there for him, that's about all I can say until I have a better picture of what's going on.
