Which was weird, actually, because going to a party full of strangers (ex-alts?!) was not something she ever would have done willingly in the past.
BUT. Something in her gut told her that she would not mind all the other humans at all and it would be fabulous. She had been feeling that way a lot, lately. In fact the only things she HADN'T wanted to do this week involved homework and chores.
Apparently even godbrained teenagers couldn't think their way to the bright side of chores.
One concern, though: She was beginning to suspect/fear that she WAS NOT ACTUALLY ANY BETTER AT DEALING WITH OTHER HUMANS THAN SHE EVER WAS. More willing to do so, sure, but not miraculously keyed into their motivations and reactions the way she had secretly hoped she might be, in the early buzz of ukulele-related jubilation. Her effort to deal with an angry Majestica had been... mixed, at best. Maybe everyone at the party would hate her evil player guts?
BUT SURELY LERA DID NOT HANG OUT WITH VINDICTIVE LUNATICS AND IT WOULD BE FINE.

She rang the doorbell.
