Chisaki finally looked at him at that. She thought about what he said -- that he changed his mind at the end. Something made him decide that he wanted to keep on living after all. It still hurt to hear that he had gone there, though. Part of her wondered if she contributed to it. She hadn't realized that he was hurting like that, though, and hadn't helped him. Other things brought him back.
