[EVENT] Acher's Attack on Enghelab

Who: Everyone! Remember, if you're in the Nenakret on Wednesday, you can't be here on Wednesday, at least until later.

Where: Enghelab/Las Vegas
Before/After: During the parade.

This is a general purpose post for Acher's attack on Enghelab. Note what day your thread occurs in the subject line, in case this takes several IC days.

"I'm a lot taller than that!" Chisaki groaned loudly. She looked down at him, holding onto his hand as he fell, and frowned. Then, she crouched down in front of him, back facing him. "Hop up. Piggyback ride."

He looked at her doubtfully, then resigned himself to his fate, and looped his arms around her neck, using his good leg to push himself up so that she could get a grip.

"This is weird," he complained.

"No complaining while I give you a piggyback ride," Chisaki growled. "It ruins the magic."

She stood up straight, then she waited -- making sure her grip on him was secure and vice versa -- before she started walking. Once she was sure she could hold him and not aggravate the hurt leg further, she started jogging. Then, finally, she began running. She ran fast and hard.

She ran faster than a human could; it was clear, then, that she had been going slow for Nova's sake.

As her speed increased beyond human, he held on tighter than was comfortable for either of them, staring as their surroundings streaked by on either side.

Next time they were being chased by horrifying monsters and/or butchering invaders, he was going to ask her to do this from the get-go, his dignity be damned.
