[Anais wouldn't wake up. She'd woken up all the other times she'd slept, but this time she wouldn't. Tavan panicked, and not knowing what else to do, picked up his phone and called Nayan, the only other person he knew in the area.]

I really appreciate the help. I can make it up to you. Show you some of the places I've found to unload things, maybe?

I may have to take you up on that. Between the lamia and the mana flu, I haven't had a chance to get out and explore the city very much.

I didn't get to see too much, but I found a few places. Learned about security cameras, too. You might want to look that up, if you don't know about them yet.

[Ohhh that's kind of cute! (No, really, it is.) He thinks he doesn't know about security cameras! But Nayan's going to let him warn him.]

I've heard of them. Haven't played with them yet, though. You'll have to tell me all about them when we see each other again, all right?

[Better to warn and look foolish than not warn and find out he didn't know!]

I mostly just know how to spot them, haven't gotten to mess with one. But we should talk more later, yeah?

[he's still kind of worried here. and sick.]

Of course, sweetie. You sit tight and maybe leave the door unlocked so the druid can get in if you think you might be unconscious or something later. We'll talk soon.
