[EVENT] Phase II reunions!
Who: OPEN!
When: Week 32
Where: Bastan/Fall City/Underwood
Before/After: After the Phase II merge
Warnings: TBA
[Suddenly we have almost the entire cast of the game in the same place at the same time! What does that mean? REUNION THREADS!]
[Here is an open post for all your threading needs! This should make it easier to have mingling threads, open threads, random encounters, multiple participants, etc etc etc]
[Basically any characters you'd like to have meeting up in the new, merged Bastan may do so here. Stick a time in your subjectline and if you're doing it on a day other than Sunday (this post is good for all of week 32), add a date tag for it. Go wild!]

The questions gets him thinking.]
Perhaps. I do feel that I was born to be a soldier, in a sense. [He pauses.] I suppose I was, really, what with having been written for it.
no subject
[A war with rogues does that. Of course, Marsal died to Acher, which is a fresh source of guilt, but she ignores it.]
You, ah, that's part of your background?
no subject
Well, I was a general at one point. I suppose no one would recognize me as one, since from my understanding, what's written for us doesn't actually become real. It's strange, actually. I don't remember it, yet I remember how to lead troops as one.
no subject
[She hesitates. How real is it? Real enough. He's fought in a war now. She smiles, slightly, but it's still a bit nervous.]
Well, after everything Days' End did in this war, I don't think anyone can question your skill or experience.
no subject
[He wonders if it's worth pointing out why he doesn't remember it. It was written that way. That he'd forgotten that time in his life. Twenty years of his life, in fact.
He shakes his head and looks back to her.]
I suppose not. [A pause.] I am glad for the experience, though not so much that it was needed.

[She nods, looking thoughtful for a moment, before she looks back up. Ah, this is getting off topic, sort of -- though he might want to know she's not a warmonger. It might be an important concern.]
If you want time to think that offer, I won't mind. It remains on the table, and if you decide other priorities have to come first, I'd never hold that against you.
no subject
[But he still has the league. There's responsibility there. And a sense of home, and in the case of some, family.]
I believe I should think on it. There is much to consider.
no subject
I understand. Give it some thought. We're certainly not going anywhere.

[He hopes no one will rise to replace Aerveas, as well, but that's too serious a thought to bring up in jest.]
[He does get more serious, though.]
You did well. All of you. You're all new to your titles, and yet you were able to band together and win a war. It's not every day most of the guilds work together on such a large scale.
[He'd say he's proud, but that seems like such a silly thing to say to his guild leader.]
no subject
Thanks. We... wouldn't be able to do it without all of you, though. If we hadn't had people to learn from, we wouldn't have been able to do it.
no subject
[He can't say the same for the others, since he doesn't know how long they'd had to learn.]
I don't supposed you'd be able to take some time off from being Mazda for drinks one night?
no subject
[Hey, things should be quieter. A little quieter. Maybe.]
no subject
Excellent. Perhaps we can get together with Marlene.
[They're already friends, after all. He can't see Marlene objecting.]
no subject
[Lera sighs fondly, nods, and then looks just marginally more serious for a moment.]
Well, I'd better let you get back to work. And do some work myself. I can do most any night. Let me know what works.
no subject
[Back to work. Bastan may not need them, what with their group as small as it is, but they're willing.]
I'll see you again soon.
no subject
[Since it's back now. Lera waves a hand at him and smiles again.]
See you soon.
[And then she's off, to deal with whatever the next thing is!]
