A portal opens into Nova's living room. Irena gapes at it in awe for a moment, then grabs up Bunny and skips through, eager to show Nova what she did.

Irena had looked up some theme parks before going to meet with Nova and head to the one near Omghan, but that hadn't prepared her for the likes of Disney World. The place was huge. There was no way they'd ever be able to see it all in one day. Nova was lucky to live near enough to just pop over whenever he liked, in Irena's opinion. Not that it would be much more difficult for her to do so, with a teleport bound to his living room.

She snacked on various sugary sweets while they explored the different exhibits, and by the time they got near the rides, she was so full of energy she couldn't sit still. And there were a lot of rides. Some were less exciting, mostly just sitting around in a little boat or trolley that ran through an themed area showing off various animals or puppets, videos or music. Others were far more exciting, such as the Tower of Doom or Mission: Space. None of it even phased her.

The Rock'n'Roller Coaster was up next, and Irena held on to Nova's arm while they waited in line, not for any sort of comfort so much as she was just so excited. There was one point where those waiting were able to watch the cars get shot into the tunnel that made up the ride. It didn't speed up, it just fired away at 57 miles per hour- a speed Irena didn't have much concept of- and she pointed Nova towards it excitedly.

Getting sick had distracted her from thinking about other things. It had been good, in a way, but now that she was better, those Things came back to mind. Things she needed to talk to someone about, but she wasn't sure who to talk to about them.

Nova was there, though. They'd talked about a lot of things in the past. They'd discussed their research, shared their experiments and results, even complained about things going wrong. Things had been different since she'd become a mage. A part of her wondered why.

Did it have to do with her being 'dumb'?

After much consideration, she decided to ask him about it. She came out of her room, holding her tablet under an arm. Bunny lay sleeping on the back of the couch, and she walked over to rub at his ears while looking at Nova, trying to peek over his shoulder.

"Are you busy?" she asked softly.

It's a bit after that she discovers her tongue also off-colour, kind of a blue-green, and she's stuck sticking her tongue out in the mirror for quite some time, finding it both interesting and confusing. She hadn't eaten anything that would've changed her tongue, and certainly no Earth foods changed your hair... did they?

She's wearing the peppermint-striped sundress Marlene had given her for her birthday, along with the headband and its red and white bow, and sipping a can of cream soda while they wait for the pizzas. There's soda for everyone, a variety of options because Irena had bought a different case each week just to try them but not drunk all of them. The cream soda was her favourite.]

We saw the Khshathra go to Zenderael. Her vehicle went, too.
